40 years ago, the Supreme Court of the United States decided that if a human fetus wasn’t “viable” it wasn’t a person. Since then, more than 54 million babies have been lost to abortion. On the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, January 22, 2013, many, including students from Texas Students for Life, assembled in front of Whole Women’s Health in north Austin.
And we laid flowers on the public sidewalk in memory of all those who lost their lives in this abortion clinic.
After the clinic was closed and it was late, the students stood in front of the clinic. A silent, solemn testimony to what happens inside that building, and a cry to make it stop:
Whether you believe or call on a God or not, what you have to believe in is the power of these demonstrations. This is the most effective, most loving, and the easiest non-violent way to save lives today. Especially if you are a UT student, come join us and others like the Austin Coalition for Life as we work to end abortion in Austin!
